Out of time: what happens when you get turned and abondaned all in one go? Edward learned the hard way but will he take the help that Ambrus offers over the years that they keep running into one another. Ambrus is instantly attracted to the young soldier from the moment they meet but getting the young man to trust him is another matter.
Christmas for a vampire: Ellis mourns not only the loss but the betrayal of his lover Quinn, Who was unwilling to turn. Christmas tidings always brings to his mind of Quinn at his piano playing for him. When visions of Quinn start appearing his is losing his mind.. can a vampire?
Quinn isn’t dead or mortal after all but can the two work out the past hurt or is it to late? When their sire arrives with news not just for Quinn, Ellis and Trent but for shifters Black and Templeton. Will it be all a cruel joke or a lesson learned.
A Tale told in dark:
Brook is an older vampire, never looking past something to satisfy his thirst or fancy. When a new neighbor moves in next door he just may have found his unwanted mate. Danger lurks in the shadows though, who is the target really Brook or Michael?
Lamb to the slaughter: Lucien was tempted by the young man, bidding his time to make his move. But who really is the prey and who the hunter in this cat and mouse game between Marcus and Lucien? Once caught who will lose the game at the end. I really enjoyed all these short read, all these authors came together with a wonder book of their own unique style of vampires. I would recommend this book for wonderful tale of what the heart wants or more to the point what the blood calls home.
